Wow it's 2011 already!!

My last post was on Nov 1st  I apologize.. So much has happened, we have been so busy once again.  Let's see where I left off.  My neighbor T was in a car accident right at the end of October. She ended up causing the accident due to a stroke.  The stroke was caused by the cancer in her brain that we didn't know about.  She is like family to us. We have known her for 6 years. And for those 6 years she has grown to love my kids as they were her own grandkids.  It has been very hard , she doesnt have any family here, her sister is in Arkansas and she does what she can from there and I try to do what I can from here to help in any way I can. T doesnt really understand what's going on. They gave her a life expectancy of 2 months. I'm not sure if that was before chemo? But she is doing daily chemo treatments. She has been living at an assisted living home, but is now currently back in the hospital. We just pray she gets better.. My kids like to say grace at there meals now, and it's usually funny how Brayden does it.  He thanks god for his green beans, noodles and chicken (whatever is for dinner) and then he will sometimes add and keep T in mind.  I love my boy! He's so thoughtful!

Moving on.. I do have 2 months to cover :)
 

November was a busy month for me and my Scentsy business! It was great .. I sure hope it keeps up!
November also ended Fall Soccer so we had yet another trophy!

 In Novemeber Mya had a project due in 1st grade ... we had to do a time line of her 6 years :)  I came up with a cleaver but corny way to represent it .. We made a "clock" to show the Time of 6 years... each year had its on certain color for the kids to easily grasp.. I think it came out nice!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving.. spent with just us 4... it was relaxing and a much needed break from chaos :)

On to December... 

Every 1st Friday of December they have the Holly Dazzle Grand Illumination in the City Center.  It's a HUGE beautiful display of fireworks, arts& crafts for the kids, food vendors everywhere..

We always go to see the Lights at Newport News Park and now we have made a tradition of Christmas Town at Busch Gardens now that this is there 2nd year doing it!  On Christmas Eve we got together with my nephews and niece to make gingerbread houses... I think next year we can stick to decorating cookies !!  Also.. Mya lost her two front teeth... How exciting was it to be able to sing her "THE SONG"   hahah  and I found the perfect ..Hallmark Ornament

Hubby did amazing this year for me!!  I have been really wanting a nice new camera.. I mean NICE camera! He got me a Canon Rebel T2i...  It's 18.0 Megapixel also has an advanced HD Movie mode for gorgeous Full HD movies. Able to capture up to 3.7 frames per second, it's ready to go the minute it's picked up. I love it!! Also he got me a Pandora Bracelet!  Mya picked out the giraffe charm because I love them! (so does she) and Mike picked out the glass charm!   I cant wait to get more!!

2011.. Here we come... Lets hope for a healthy year.  My 1st day wasn't so healthy I ended up at th ER because I literally couldn't breathe.  So scary!!  I couldnt talk, I could barely gasp for air... again so scary!! Today I feel better, other than some muscle spasms I keep feeling in my back... but lets hope thats the worse for 2011~

I think Brayden loved this the best.. he was " mmmmmmmmming" the whole time he was eating. He has really started here lately of wanting to make dinner or lunch for me. So I believe allowing him to make his own dinner was just way too awesome in his eyes!

Halloween

Mya wanted to be a pretty vampire and Brayden went as Woody from Toy Story

 

 

 We went to Williamsburg with some friends and walked a neighborhood up there, I guess the walk really made Mya hungry..

 

She just couldnt get enough of me :)

Drive In Movie Sleepover

Mya's Drive-In Movie Sleepover

Mya loves sleepovers! She has been begging me to let Kylee and Alicyn come over for a sleepover so I placed it on my calendar.. and here we are.

Mya wanted Pizza for dinner and a drive in movie night with something scary!  Well.. since we can't really do Friday the 13th or Freddy just yet.. I picked Adams Family. She has seen Casper, and Beetlejuice and a few other movies. But I figured that we would be safe w/ Adam Family with all kids.

Here is one of the cars :)  I think they came out great!  I used a card board box, I drew a "grill" on the front used aluminum foil for headlights and black plates for tires (on the side) The Cubbys are made out of shoe boxes and a slit cut in th corner for the drink to stay in. I used Large Binder Clips to hold the show box on the side. It worked - no spills :)

I added a small little touch to the front to say

"Moeller Drive-In"

I am extremely late posting this.. but better late than never :)

We have a Turkey & Provolone Pumpkin "Samwich" ,Ghostly Raisins, Whale grave yard, fingers w/ ranch for dipping and for dessert peanut butter no bake goodness :)

 

Fall Begins

It's that time of year again, where the weather starts acting crazy, we all get the sniffles and the leaves on the  tree's look there best :)

School started and I feel like I have been neglecting my blog duties and uploading pics, so please bare with me if I go MIA :) Between Mya's school, soccer,birthday parties every weekend, my dad visiting and Scentsy I have been busy. Last week I had to help a dear friend and watched her daycare children  because she needed surgery after fracturing her ankle in I believe 3 spots. She ended up with 7 pins and a metal plate!  Craziness. 

Last weekend we were driving home from a birthday party and I noticed a church that had a pumpkin patch, so we stopped and gathered our pumpkins. My favorite was the dark green one :)

I figured this year we would do something different instead of carving them... I let the kids decorate there pumpkin like you do Mr. Potato Head...

Catching Up

Rain Rain Go Away........

it's been raining since Sunday and the forecast is saying we will have rain all week! Where was all this rain in the summer,when our grass and flowers were dying! Ok my rants done...

It's Tuesday and I totally forgot to post my Muffin Tin Monday picture. It's nothing spectacular just lunch...haha I was not in the mood yesterday to do anything fun - as far as lunches went. I had errands to run all day and getting 2 toddlers in/ out of a car 7 times... ehh! That's enough to make you want to take a Nap.

 So lunch time came.. and this was what the kids had

• Cracker Sticks & Cheese
• Ham, Turkey and Cheese Pinewheels

Yesterday I was busy catching up on laundry, promoting my Business Scentsy and like I said earlier running a million errands, did I mention in  the rain!  I also made a sign yesterday  to display at my Scentsy Shows.. and My dad is suppose to be making me a display so I can actually plug in a plug-in warmer so, you can see it when I have vendor shows :) He was suppose to come down last week for the Neptune Festival but I guess with old age he wrote the wrong dates down, and now as far as I know he will be visiting next week!

This past weekend was my 5th wedding anniversary. So weird to say that out loud, because we have been together for so much longer.  We just went out to dinner as a family, and I got to get my sushi fix .. YUM!

Mya started Soccer back up and her 1st game was this past Saturday... She did great she blocked two balls as goalie :)  YAY Mya!
